Prof Ranjan Das
Prof Ranjan Das has been associated with several business schools: IIM Calcutta [1994 onwards], The Strategy Academy [2008 onwards], IIM Ranchi [Visiting: 2014-15], IIM Trichy [Visiting: 2015-17], UPH University, Jakarta [Visiting 2015-17] Indian School of Business, Hyderabad [Visiting: 2008-09], and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong [Visiting: 2005-06]. Prof Das did the Doctoral [Fellow] Program in Management with specialization in Strategic Management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). He has a total of 43 years of experience comprising 20 years in industry, and 23 years in teaching, training, research and consulting as a Professor of Strategic Management at IIM Calcutta, including 9 years as an Academic and Social Entrepreneur. Presently, Prof Das is the Chairman – The Strategy Academy Centre of Advanced Studies and he also continues to teach at IIMs
Prof Ranjan Das is the Program Director of the Young Leadership Development Program, which is being jointly offered by CII-SNCEL and The Strategy Academy Centre of Advanced Studies.
FACULTY
Prof Pratyush Banerjee
Dr. Pratyush Banerjee is at present Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. Beforejoining BITS, hewas working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Resource Management at IBS Hyderabad, IFHE University from 2015-17. His area of research is in HR Analytics, HR Planning, HR Audit and E-HRM.Dr. Banerjee completed his PhD in 2014 from ICFAI University Dehradun in the area of ‘E-recruitment'. He holds a PGDM with HRM specialization from AIMA and a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications from Kalyani University, West Bengal. He had brief stints in the Telecom and the RPO industries before pursuing a career in academics. Overall he has more than four years of post-PhD experience as a Management educator. Dr. Banerjee has contributed several research papers to Scopus abstracted and ABDC/ABS ranked Journals published by reputed international publishers. He has also contributed several case studies for the Case Center/ ICMR CDC. He is presently serving as an editorial board member for The Qualitative Report, a peer-reviewed journal published from Nova South-Eastern University, USA. He alsoacts as an ad-hoc reviewer for several peer-reviewed international journals published by eminent publishers such as Taylor and Francis, Springer and Emerald. His research papers have been presented in reputed conferences held abroad such as the Oxford University, UK and the Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China.
Dr. Banerjee holds a certificate in Business Analytics from Carlton Advanced Management Institute (UK) and he is a Certified HR Analytics Professional from Aon-Hewitt. He has conducted MDPs and FDPson HR/Business Analytics. A member of the Indian Society for Training and Development and the Analytics Society of India (IIM Bangalore), Pratyush believes in continuous improvement and learning.
Prof Manish Gupta
Prof Manish Gupta has a PhD in HR plus he did his MBA. His teaching areas are HRM, OB, HR analytics, and competency mapping. He has both teaching and industry experience. He is Editorial Team Member of Journal of Global Information Management, Australasian Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, International Journal of Cyber Behavior, Psychology and Learning, and HRM Review magazine. He is Guest Editor for 13 journals published by Emerald, Wiley, Elsevier, etc. He has authored more than 30 research papers published by APA, Springer, Emerald, Wiley, Elsevier, etc. for the journals in ABDC, ABS, SSCI, and Scopus.He has 5 books, 9 book chapters, 19 conference papers, and 6 teaching cases to his credit. He has conducted multiple management development programs
Prof Pallabi Ghosh
Dr.Pallabi Ghosh holds a PhD and she also did an MBA. She teaches in different areas of HR and OB including HR Analytics, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Emotional Intelligence, Recruitment and compensation and Quantitative Human Resource Management
During August 2012-May 201, Prof Ghosh was on aVisiting Scholarship Programme at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia.
Prof Samprit Chakrabarti
Prof Samprit Chakrabarti is a Prof of Analytics [including HR Analytics and Marketing Analytics] and Quantitative Methods. He is specially trained as a faculty and trainer for Data Analysis and Specialised analytics modules on Finance, Marketing and HR domains, using the best of the software available.
He has trained corporates of such companies like Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited, Companies under RP-SG group, ITC, HCL etc. He has been associated with The Strategy Academy for the last12 years as a trainer-consultant. He has done a Masters in Economics with specialisation in Econometrics and Decision Science, followed by an M.Phil in management and an EPGP from IIM Kozhikode.
